Dean Family Fellowship

AICAT is proud and happy to announce the opening of the applications for the second year of “The Dean Family Fellowship Grant” program in partnership with The Jewish National Fund (JNF) and the Dean Family of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania USA. It is the commitment and desire of AICAT, JNF and the Dean Family to provide encouragement, financial backing, and mentorship to deserving students who have the vision, courage, and determination to make a difference in their local communities, across borders and cultures, and in their own lives.

This year, there will be TEN (10) grants awarded - Each for a minimum of  $5,000-  to be paid in two (2) instalments, timing determined by AICAT and the Dean Family Fellowship.

  • Eight (8) grants available for teams of  second-year students (2019-21)
  • Two (2) grants available to teams of AICAT Alumni with existing projects
*Teams must consist of three or more members or shareholders meeting the required specifications (i.e. a company).

Each grant will be administered by AICAT and the Dean Family Fellowship based on business targets and milestones specific to each plan.  Business plans will outline how the teams will use what they have learned at AICAT and how they will nurture, maintain and support relationships established in the ARAVA to establish viable businesses in their home countries. Business plans and their viability will be submitted and judged by mentors, business people and peers.

The recipients will receive start-up funds as well as mentorship as they launch their businesses. Every registered team must complete the application requirements and their applications must be submitted before the 1st of February.
