Nepal

Nepal (officially the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal)  is a Sovereign state located in South Asia. It is a landlocked country located along the Himalayas and bordered to the north by China and to the south, east, and west by India. The mountainous north of Nepal has eight of the world's ten tallest mountains, including the highest point on Earth, Mount Everest. About 19% of Nepal's territory has been declared a nature reserve.  
Nepal is also the only country in the world that has a national flag that is not quadrilateral in shape. Instead, it is a combination of two single pennants.

Cooperation with AICAT:

Cooperation with AICAT began in 2004, with the Tribhuvan University of Agriculture and Animal Sciences.
In 2013 AICAT developed a collaboration with the Sana Kisan Bikas Bank Ltd., which supports farmers in rural areas.
All of the Nepalese students come from the Dedine region of Nepal, and all are university graduates in agriculture-related fields and have agricultural experience.

In 2016, the Arava Nepal Modern Agriculture Company (ANMAC) was established as a Public Ltd. Company. The company's primary aims are to introduce advanced technology in agricultural sectors.  ANMAC also focuses on the training youths and Agro-tourism. This company, comprised of AICAT alumni It has built a community-based model smart village similar to a Moshav and has adopted the integrated agricultural system by using the skills, education and practical knowledge that they learnt during their studies at AICAT.
